The Parks of Granada

Granada is a wonderful place in Spain which has both coastal areas as well as hilly areas. The temperature in the coastal areas is very warm and in the hilly areas it is quite cold. The scenic beauty of the place is very good and there are famous ports in this town.

The city of the Granada is full of parks and gardens which are very wonderful to see. Here we will read more about the parks in the Granada. Here we will have a glimpse of the four main parks in Granada, namely:

  * Royal Garden
  * Villa
  * Cave
  * Courtyard

Royal Garden

In the Royal Garden one gets to see the Alhambra and the Generalife. This is a wonderful park that has a lot of pools and fountains. This park is designed neatly in a geometrical pattern. This park has a lot of flower beds which are a pleasant sight to see, as they make the park completely colorful and wonderful. There are also a lot of fruit bearing trees in this park. In short this is a wonderful and a colorful park. The water bodies in the park enhance its beauty.

Villa

The villa which is commonly known as the Carmen in Granada is a private villa. This villa has a lot of fountains and terraces at various levels. These terraces are filled with greenery, making this a wonderful place to relax and enjoy. There are balconies and courtyards where one can lie down and relax.  This is a very silent park which entices any tourist who wants to relax and enjoy the greenery.

Courtyards

The courtyards are attached to the Monastery and the convent. These courtyards are not very big. Though small they are wonderful and fascinating, as they have a lot of fruit bearing trees and plants which make the place look green and beautiful holiday villas spain. There are also small flower beds which add beauty to these courtyards. There are two main courtyards that are worth seeing. They are the Santa Isabel La Real monastery and the San Jerónimo Monastery.

Caves

These cave-dwellings are wonderful. Most of the caves here are on a smaller, more humble scale. There are some caves that have been painted by the owners. These caves are maintained well by the owners of the caves. There are flower beds all around the caves. The garden around the cave undoubtedly catches one's eye.
